Tiny tiny sandwiches. Maybe fine if you've got tiny hands and not much of an appetite.
Great little cafe in a neighbourhood worth visiting. The coffee is good and pastries fresh. The granola was a surprising highlight. The menu had English and staff spoke it too so very tourist friendly.
This place is so popular to local and also tourists, so very busy from early mornings. So if you would like to take your time for a cup of coffee and breakfast, you shouldn’t go. Cuz the staffs come over and take your plates away as soon as you finish it. They want to welcome other customers who are waiting in the long queue. And a staff who was working in the kitchen looked so annoyed and being in bad mood. Actually I really feel for her cuz it was really hectic, but unless she is working in front of customers, she shouldn’t show her those kinds of feelings. On the other hand, the food and drinks were amazing! I got a croissant for take-away and ate it next morning, but it was still so tasty.
Simply the best breakfast I've ever had. If possible sit up at the bar and watch as all master bakers buzz around the small kitchen, creating incredible baked goods. Try the Dutch pancakes.
Top quality food, a short and simple menu, and great ambience. Expect to pay over 2000 yen for a meal here, but it's worth the price.
Cool, stylish, yet cozy. One of my favorite third-places just 1min from Odakyu (Yoyogi-Hachiman) and Metro (Yoyogi-Koen) stations. They usually do brunch, lunch, dinner and to-go, also have various brunch spécialités such as dutchbaby pancake, fragrant-buttery-flaky croissant, fermented fruit-juice etc. Plus, if you are a natural wine lover, had better come for dinner and check their nice selections😎Basically they do not take reservations except for fixed dinner course, and weekend brunch/lunch must be busy. Also they have a couple of sister restaurants, please check their website, enjoy!
I really love Dutch Pancake, so yummy !! Also love friendly staff there.
Loved this place. Very cool vibe.. we ordered drinks and the dutch pancake with prosciutto and burrata-it is absolutely delicious- perfect combo of sweet and salty worth to wait the half hour it takes to make it
Some of the best French food I've had outside France, and better than a lot of food I've had in France. The Dutch pancake is absolutely worth the wait, I would suggest dipping crust pieces into the syrup sparingly as it is so rich and delicious as-is. The craft beer from Kyoto Brewery is wonderful, and the baked goods are cooked to perfection.
Run by almost all women this place is just fantastic. Fresh ingredients cooked in front of you! You really want to try everything! Cool vibe and friendly staff! The pastry is delicious! Highly recommended!
This is a fun western-style hipster brunch place but be prepared for a wait - it’s busy even if you go on a weekday. We had the burrata and prosciutto pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Would go again just for that.
Food is really good (fresh and tasty) and the setting is perfect for what the cafe is trying to achieve. However; prices were extravagant for what was offered.
Lucked out and still managed to get the Dutch baby after 1pm on a Sunday. It's as good as everybody says, and can be made vegetarian (replacing the ham with tomatoes in our case). I was worried about how it would feel to eat that much cheese so decided to share it alongside a salad, but it's actually pretty petite, one person could probably polish it off. There was a queue, obviously, but it was lovely to sit across the street drinking a coffee until our names got close.
Excellent all around. Get there early for the croissants. Dutch pancake is great, but very filling.
Food is good but a little pricy
Although we had to wait an hour and a half (we came at the busiest time of morning, around 9:30AM on a Sunday), I have to say it was worth it. We didn’t get to try the pastries, which was what we were dying to try! Regardless, the burdock potage and Dutch pancake (with prosciutto and burrata) we’re simply amazing. We even made dinner reservations for their fixed dinner set because we were so impressed by the food. Coffee was great too! Highly recommend (just make sure you come early enough as to not miss out on their croissant and/or pain au chocolate).
Make sure to arrive early for their baked goods. I arrived at 10, signed up a wait list and got the table at almost 11 — all viennoiseries were sold out except the mini kouign amann which were in the oven. Brunch: the dutch pancake, pomegranate salad and the kouign amann (arrival time in reversed order) Food quality, staff, ambience were superb. Will come again for their coffee! PS a cute coffee stand on the opposite to kill time :)
Best croissant in Tokyo.
I came here with my girlfriend, we we're pretty late so we missed the most popular dishes which had sold out. I got the soup with a scone. The scone was pretty hard and dry and the soup kind of flavorless, but my girlfriend got the Dutch pancake and loved it, so I guess we just had bad luck.RECOMMENDATION:If you're going for breakfast, make sure to be the early. And check out Camel Black nearby. They serve great coffee!
Fantastic pain au chocolat - light, soft, flaky pastry with real chocolate melted inside! The iced coffee is served without milk or sugar - which is how I like it - incredibly refreshing. Apparently the croissants are so exceptional that they are always sold out early in the morning...maybe next time!
Amazing Dutch pancakes, great coffee, friendly staff, great music.
It was a very sweet little shop that was very busy. The food was delicious, even if there weren't a lot of choices and most of the pastries were sold out before 12. Over all it was a great experience, even if the food took a while to come out.
Awesome baked goods. Fun to watch the hustle and bustle of the kitchen from the counter seat. Staff friendly and professional.
Cool decor and feel - really nails that soft, earthy cyberpunk-lite vibe that Tokyo does so well. Food was good but I wasn't totally blown away - very subtle tastes and quite small portion sizes (Benedict came with a single egg for ~$15). I got the medium roast coffee from Little Nap and was similarly unimpressed. Could be I got the wrong stuff, but in my experience the best thing about this place is the vibe. Maybe my mistake was not trying the pastries?
I had the Dutch pancake which was perfection, very friendly staff. Plus they were not playing Kings of Convenience 10/10
My partner and I went back twice for their Dutch pancake. It was one of the greatest things we have ever eaten. The first time we arrived early for breakfast and sat at the bar. We watched all the food get made, which was a special and lovely touch to an amazing meal. I would recommend getting there around 8.30am - it's one of the places in Tokyo that opens early.
Amazing place to eat the Duck pancake🥞 is absolutly amazing 🙃 Definetly worth stopping by!
Really nice cafe. I got a chocolate croissant and a quiche, both of which were excellent. The space is really nice, the staff are friendly, and they can speak English. Great place to grab a light meal in the morning and do some reading.
Worth. The. Wait. Do yourself a favour and order the Dutch Pancake, it’s all that it’s cracked up to be and more. I went two days in a row and would happily call it my favourite breakfast in Tokyo. The staff are super friendly and patient, I wish I could give it more stars.
Dutch pancake waa so delicious. The food served was not so much. There were waiting but could quickly go into the bistro.
Perfect pastry. They make them in fresh in the front window. Good coffee too. Great place to stop off before a stroll in the yogogi park. Was there at 9am on a Saturday, was able to get a table immediately.
An excellent pain au chocolat at Tokyo’s @path_restaurant in the hip Shibuya neighborhood Tomigaya near Yoyogi Hachiman station. I love the vibe here sitting at the counter, with the open kitchen and friendly staff, but it’s tough to score a croissant unless one arrives early, since they’re often gone by 10:30am. I recommend ordering a pastry and a good cup of @fuglencoffeeroasters_tokyo (they also offer so-called medium roast Little Nap - I would avoid) and then perusing the menu for something additional. I chose the sardine & potato smørrebrød - perfectly respectable for ¥890 - but somewhat on the monotonous side.
Popular pastries were sold out by the time I got here(lunch time on a weekday).. so get in early ! Everything else was really good though and staff was friendly!
I don't know about the course meal, but I usually prefer to order a la carte menus and wine as bottles. We couldn't get a table last time, but it was weirdly quiet this time. We got a table right away, and it didn't get busy till we finished dinner. Maybe it's the rainy weather, or maybe it's because it was a bit earlier. The food was good and the staff were nice. The main dish looked better than it tasted; it was too salty for me, but the escabeche was the best.
Staff here are nice. But I came here for brunch... but what it really is, is early lunch - rather than 'brunch'. Most of the options are heavy buttery pastries, eg with prosciutto baked into the top. Dont come here looking for eggs on toast or avo on toast, or if you're looking for a light breakfast. Their herbal tea is delicious but so expensive (i think it was 700 yen!)
Great , fresh pastries and outstanding coffee. Go early at weekends as it soon fills up.
Very delicious sandwich and nice staffs. Medium roasted coffee is perfect too.
In early morning they have nice croissant and pan o chocolate, other pastries which would sold out quickly. fluffy Dutch-oven baked Buratta cheese with Italian ham pancake is a must menu for brunch. Night time they serve neat bistro style food and good selection of wine with decent price, highly recommended!
I went for their weekend brunch. Eggs Benedict were great, light and citrusy, with amazing sauce. And the croissant, OMG, if you come to Path you HAVE to get a croissant, it’s what they’re known for (ask the guys at Konbi LA if you need a second opinion!). I had a pot of herb tea, too, which was full of fresh mint sprigs. Would love to go back for a proper dinner.
Best place to begin the holiday. This cozy place serves great dutch pancake. Should try it.
Came up as one of the suggestions for romantic dinner places, but turned out breakfast here is way more famous! Make sure to get into the line before 8am though...Dutch pancake with mozzarella and parm ham was great; high quality pastry, fresh ingredients, and just a tiny bit of rosemary to add interest to the fattiness/sweetness combination. Also liked their coffee, both medium and light roast, although wish the cup size was way bigger. In terms of atmosphere, a well-balanced space with a nice open kitchen. Warm, cozy, perfect on a gloomy day. Will be coming back for more, - although there is a dedication in waking up at 6am on Sunday just to get in a dreamy breakfast, - and will book a dinner. Seems like the chef here is quite a star...
Order anything from the menu and nothing goes wrong. Always a long que but definitely something worth the time.
if you like taking photo for your SNS this place is right for you. food wise...They use good quality ingredients...unfortunately the taste turned out just okayyyyyyyy (I ordered the famous Dutch pancake and something cheese sandwich). I set expectation for this place too high and disappointed (same feeling to their sister brand “Like”)
great pastries. the quinoa and raddichio salad was not very well seasoned.
Very very good coffee, if you are used to high standard Melbourne level coffee won’t disappoint. Ran out of croissants, got here at 11 am, so keep it in mind.Edit: had the ham sandwich, wow. The cheese unbelievably good same with ham. Tired my friends Benedict amazing hollandaise sauce. 10/10
Cute cafe worth the trip. We arrived to a limited brunch menu and lots of sold out pastries so we would have went on the earlier side next time. Very friendly service and prompt. This was a delicious change up from sushi breakfasts!
Super comfortable!!! Very cozy and tasty 😎
Heard so much about their croissant but I arrived too late. They were sold out. So I ordered something else, sucre cannelle. It was so delicious. I can imagined that their croissant would be too. Will definitely visit earlier next time. Their homemade ham & Camembert sandwich was quite good too. Would love to try other food the next time I visit.
The best breakfast in Tokyo so far. All their cutlery and plate are very unit and serve with fine food
Been here both for brunch and dinner. Satisfied by both the experiences. The place is warm and cozy, a little costy yet doable.Recommend the coffee and I suggest on reconsidering the wine selection. (Reason why I am not giving the five stars)
